My Passions.

I love all racket sports, squash, pickleball, tennis, padel, badminton, table tennis. What can I say, they’re all really fun?

Over the past 10 years (to scratch the competitive itch as I transitioned out of active pro squash play), I developed a passion for interactive and strategic boardgames, games in which tactical and calculated moves are rewarded and punished accordingly. Some of my favorites include Terra Mystica, Twilight Struggle & Great Western Trails. I’m always up for a game!

One of my greatest strengths as an athlete and competitor is zeroing in on the crux of the issue, what are the most important factors that determine an outcome, and where to focus time and effort on. I try to apply this process to my coaching, and am always looking to help my students optimize their learning.

With younger students, I focus on technical and tactical skill aquisition, and developing a healthy attitude about sport and competition. I teach that sport should be practiced and played with skill, joy and exuberance, and that those attributes can exist alongside high level training and competition.

Building a super team

Squash is a small world filled with great people that I’ve been fortunate to meet.

I’ve recruited some of my friends to help guide me in this project. Every journey is simpler and more enjoyable when you assemble a stellar crew!
